Handyman and Small Repairs in Murrieta

Every house has a list. The fan that wobbles, the door that will not latch, the TV still sitting on a stand. Send us the whole list and we will work through it in one visit.

Installations

TVs mounted on the wall with the cables hidden. Ceiling fans replacing the builder light in every bedroom, which in a Murrieta summer is the best comfort upgrade per dollar in the house. New light fixtures, dimmers and smart switches. Bathroom accessories, mirrors, towel bars and shelving hung properly into studs or with the right anchors. Closet systems, garage shelving, curtain rods and blinds. If it comes in a box and needs to be attached to the house, this is the page.

Repairs

Interior doors that stick or will not latch, usually because the house has settled a little. Sliding door rollers that have worn flat. Screens that need re-meshing before the summer. Cabinet doors that have dropped off their hinges. Leaking faucets, running toilets, and a garbage disposal that hums but does not spin. Caulking around tubs, windows and exterior joints that has cracked in the heat. Weatherstripping and door sweeps so the air conditioning stays inside.

How a Handyman Visit Works

Send the list, with photos where they help. We come out with the parts and tools the list calls for, work through the items in one visit, and price the visit by the time and materials it actually took. For a long list we will give you an estimate up front so there is no guesswork.

This is also how many of our larger projects start. A homeowner calls about a leaking faucet and a ceiling fan, we get talking about the kitchen, and a few months later we are doing the remodel. There is no pressure in that direction; the small jobs are welcome on their own.

Preparing a House for Sale or Move-In

Selling a home in Murrieta means an inspection list, and buyers' agents in this market ask for everything. We work through those repair requests as a batch. On the other side, a new home has its own list: fans, mounting, shelving, and the things the previous owner left half done.

Tell us about the project and we will come out, measure, and put a written number in your hands.

Questions

Handyman & Small Repairs Questions, Answered

Is there a minimum charge?

There is a minimum for a visit, which is why we suggest bundling several small jobs into one trip. A list of five or six items is the most economical way to use a handyman visit.

Can you mount a TV over a fireplace?

Yes, with a mount rated for the weight and, where the wall is stucco or stone, the right anchors. We will also talk you through the heat and viewing-angle trade-offs of that spot before drilling.

Do you do small electrical and plumbing jobs?

Fixture swaps, fans, switches, faucets, toilets and disposals on existing lines and circuits, yes. Anything that involves new circuits, panel work or re-piping gets referred to the right trade.

Do I need to be home?

For a first visit, yes, so we can walk the list together. For return visits, arrangements can be made if you are comfortable with that.
